The one tool I actually use every day

Forget the gadgets I bought and never touched. The thing I reach for every single day is a cheap

pocket notebook. No battery, no app, no notifications. I jot down what I need to remember, cross it

off, tear out the page when it's done. People keep recommending elaborate systems, and I've tried

plenty, but nothing has stuck like a small notebook and a pen that works. It's unglamorous and

that's exactly why it works — there's no setup, no friction, nothing between me and the note.

Sometimes the best tool is the one you never have to think about.
